Family AssociationsIn 1894, it was a small group of descendants that came together to begin preserving the unique history of New Paltz and its early families. Five years later, they purchased the Jean Hasbrouck House on Huguenot Street as the "Huguenot-Holland Memorial House." In the mid 20th century, Family Associations formed to preserve family history and to raise funds for the purchase and support of the ancestral homes that are now the museum houses of Historic Huguenot Street. Today, Family Associations continue in their mission to preserve family history, share genealogy and support the houses of Historic Huguenot Street.
