A Great Destination — An Easy Addition to Your Group's Visit to the Hudson Valley
A visit to Historic Huguenot Street is a great destination for your group. It's also an easy add-on to your group visit to the Hudson Valley. Groups that visit Historic Huguenot Street often combine the visit with a trip other area attractions such as Mohonk Mountain House, the Culinary Institute of America, local wineries or other historic sites (including Franklin Delano Roosevelt's home and the Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park). Historic Huguenot Street is a short drive from all of these attractions.

Rates

$9 per person.  One chaperone per group will be admitted free of charge.

Making Your Reservation

To make your reservation, please contact Sarah Wassberg, Education Coordinator, via email or by calling 845 255-4544 or 1889.  Sarah will discuss your visit with you and can, if needed, make suggestions for other places to visit or to have lunch.  Please be sure to tell Sarah where you are coming from and/or where your group is continuing to after your visit.  Please also provide accurate information about the amount of time you have allotted for your visit to Historic Huguenot Street.

You will receive a confirmation of your reservation.  A deposit is due in advance.  If you need to change the number of guests included in your reservation, we ask that you do this no less than 48 hours before your visit.  Unless we hear from you within this time frame, we will staff for the number included in your reservation and payment for this number will be due when you arrive.

Also, we understand that even with the best of planning, groups can run behind schedule.  If this happens, please call our office or Visitor Center to let us know.  We're happy to accommodate you.

Visit Time
For the best experience at Historic Huguenot Street, we recommend that you allow at least one hour for your visit.

Parking, Drop Off and Pick Up

Our parking lot easily accommodates buses.  Guests can be dropped off and picked up in the parking lot, which is short walk from the Visitor Center, or they may be dropped off and picked up at the Visitor Center.  We ask that buses wait in the parking lot and that they do not idle unnecessarily.

Accessibility
Historic Huguenot Street strives to make its grounds, exhibits, and programs accessible to everyone, wherever possible, with understandable limitations given the historic nature of the buildings and grounds. For more information about the accessibility of museum houses, please contact Sarah Wassberg, Education Coordinator, via email or by calling 845 255-4544 or 1889.  If you know that members of your group have limited mobility, please let us know in advance.  We can adjust your tour accordingly

Comfort
Please advise individuals in your group to wear comfortable walking shoes and appropriate clothing as the museum houses of Historic Huguenot Street are spread out over the equivalent of five city blocks.

Food at Historic Huguenot Street
Coffee, soda, water and juice are available for sale in the Visitor Center.  They may be consumed on the first floor of the Visitor Center or outdoors.  There is shaded picnic grove on the grounds and cafe tables are available for dining at the Visitor Center.  Out of concern for the preservation of our collections, food and beverages are not allowed in the museum houses.

Historic Huguenot Street is just a short walk from restaurants and a bakery.  Staff can happily offer you suggestions about where to eat.
