About Walk-In Guided Tours Walk-in guided tours are offered at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm on the days that the Visitor Center is open. A guided tour is the only way to see and experience the interiors of our restored museum houses. Our goal at Historic Huguenot Street is to ensure that every guest has a meaningful experience. In addition, we strive to make certain that our guests' expectations are consistently met or exceeded. If you have a particular interest, please make sure that your guide knows. Guides are thoroughly trained before they lead a tour. Many of our full-time staff, including curators, lead tours as part of their commitment to the site and the public. Guides are educated about the events and forces that led this small group of French-speaking Protestants to travel halfway around the world in search of the possibility of a better life. Guides are not expected to deliver a verbatim script. They work from a framework that allows them to respond to visitors' questions and interests.
